The McLennan County Dispute Resolution Center (DRC) is a non-profit
corporation which was chartered in 1996 and is governed by a board
of directors. The Center exists to provide the residents of McLennan
County with education, training and access to quality, affordable
and effective mediation, conciliation and arbitration services.
The DRC utilizes a small group of trained and skilled volunteer
mediators to assist parties in finding creative and workable solutions
to many disputes. These volunteer mediators are trained professionals
from a variety of backgrounds including law, business, psychology,
religion, education, social services, the government, many technical
fields and other professions and disciplines. The DRC currently
has over 30 trained and experienced volunteer mediators on its rolls.
The DRC accepts referral of cases for mediation from the Courts,
