The McLennan County Dispute Resolution Center (DRC) is a non-profit corporation which was chartered in 1996 and is governed by a board of directors. The Center exists to provide the residents of McLennan County with education, training and access to quality, affordable and effective mediation, conciliation and arbitration services. The DRC utilizes a small group of trained and skilled volunteer mediators to assist parties in finding creative and workable solutions to many disputes. These volunteer mediators are trained professionals from a variety of backgrounds including law, business, psychology, religion, education, social services, the government, many technical fields and other professions and disciplines. The DRC currently has over 30 trained and experienced volunteer mediators on its rolls. The DRC accepts referral of cases for mediation from the Courts, from attorneys and from individuals in the community at large.
